My mom worked really hard to encourage me through school and frankly a lot of my family sacrificed so that I would be in a position to attend university and eventually earn my license as a counselor. As I circle my professional accomplishments I can’t help but wonder if those family members look at what I’ve done with my career with a tearful melancholy of “not like this.” It’s a strange kind of cache to trade in for sure but the truth is I’ve never been more proud of the hard work I’ve done to offer something to my community then when I first watched back the tape from my live ON SET interview with Sinn Sage and the team with Sinn Sage productions.
